Once a workshop fee has been paid in full, no refunds will be given, but if you wish to cancel your booking, a credit in the amount of the workshop fee will be given, which can be used towards another workshop run exclusively by BlueHour Photo Ventures (not towards one of the tours we run in conjunction with a tour company). Cancellations in return for future workshop credit can be made up to two days before the workshop date, for all workshops that are two days in length or shorter.
For workshops longer than two days, you will be charged a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, and you will be required to pay the balance of your workshop fee one month before the workshop start date. If you book within one month of the start date, you will be required to pay the full fee at the time of booking. Any deposits or fees paid towards a multi-day workshop are non-refundable, unless you are able to find another person to take your spot on a workshop, and that person pays in full. But if you wish to cancel your workshop booking before the final balance is due, you will be given a credit in the amount of your deposit, which can be used towards another workshop or workshops run exclusively by BlueHour Photo Ventures.
In the event that you do not attend a workshop and also do not give us advance notice (a “no-show”), we will consider your workshop registration to be forfeit, and you will not receive credit towards a future workshop.
Our workshops are conducted rain or shine, but in the event of a weather emergency or other event that would make conducting the workshop unsafe or impossible, BlueHour Photo Ventures will make the decision to cancel the workshop, and full refunds will be given to students.
Our policies may seem somewhat strict, but this is due to the fact that many of our workshop locations require permits or reservations to be purchased in advance, and we have a limited number of spots available for each workshop.
For our photo tours that are conducted in conjunction with one of our tour company partners, we adhere to the terms and conditions of the particular tour company regarding deposits, cancellations, and refunds.
