CENTRAL VERMONT IS KNOWN FOR ITS MEANDERING RIVERS CROSSED BY COVERED BRIDGES, ROLLING FARMLAND, MOUNTAIN VISTAS AND QUINTESSENTIAL NEW ENGLAND TOWNS. ENCOMPASSING FOUR-SEASON BEAUTY, IT IS INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN FOR ITS INCREDIBLE FALL FOLIAGE.
Beginning at the village of Northfield, we will explore the town’s five covered bridges. We will then move through the farmlands stopping for some iconic images set against the fall foliage and conclude our afternoon at the mountaintop vista of Smuggler’s Notch. The next morning we will begin with a hike up to Sunset Rock for a view of Stowe against the backdrop of the surrounding mountains and then conclude our workshop at Moss Glen Falls where the top down view is perfect for some, but wading through the water to the base is a blast.
